Dr Getinet Haile
Director of PhD Programme and Associate Professor in Industrial Economics
I am very passionate and always aspire to see a vibrant doctoral programme at NUBS, offering ample opportunity for candidates to exploit their research potential. Together with the excellent Doctoral Programmes team, I commit to support your research and scholarship thereby making your stay at NUBS a very productive one. I am based in room B32, Business School South.
Dr Simon Parker
Co-Deputy Director of PhD Programme and Assistant Professor in HRM/OB
I am happy to be involved in the PhD programme because I enjoy helping motivated and curious students learn more about the world. Studying a PhD at NUBS is a great decision and my role is to provide events and training for current students. I am based in room C78, Business School North.

Co-Deputy Director of PhD Programme (Pastoral) and Associate Professor in HRM/OB
I am happy to be part of the PhD programme and in my role as PhD Senior Tutor I'm here to give confidential and independent advice to help students through their studies. I am based in room C27, Business School South.
Karen Maltby
Senior Operations Officer, Core Operations and Research Knowledge Exchange Team
I am a member of the Operations and Research Support team and work alongside the academic members of the NUBS PhD team as well as working closely with Registry and Academic Affairs PGR team covering all areas of the NUBS PhD programme to support students throughout their PhD. I am based in the room B12, Business School North.

Senior Operations Officer, Core Operations and Research Knowledge Exchange Team
I joined the Operations and Research Support team after completing my own PhD in History at the University of Nottingham. I look forward to working with the other members of the PhD team to ensure that the NUBS PhD students have all the tools and support they need throughout their programme. I am based in room B12, Business School North.
