Description

The Centre for the Study of Subversion, Unconventional Interventions and Terrorism  (SUIT) would like to invite staff and students from across the University to join us for a current affairs seminar reflecting on four years of conflict in Ukraine.

We will be welcoming a panel of experts to discuss political, humanitarian and human rights developments since 2022. 

Speakers:

  • Dr Elyzaveta Monastyrova (Rights Lab) – forced labour and other coercion in the occupied territories
  • Dr Artur Nadiiev (School of Politics and International Relations/SUIT) – Ukrainian domestic politics and diplomacy
  • Anastasiia Kliuha (Rights Lab) – human rights violations and deportation of Ukrainian children
  • Albert Salimov (School of Politics and International Relations alumnus, parliamentary staffer and humanitarian volunteer with Casus Pax) – humanitarian situation in Ukraine

The speakers' contributions will be followed by a Q&A and discussion. Light refreshments will be served.

The event will take place in A42 Sir Clive Granger building from 1-2.30pm.
