Packages for student midwives

Midwifery students and educators worked together to identify topics for public health packages and content.  All partners took part in this activity supported by the University of Nottingham Health and e-Learning and Media Team.

Students involved in the TOTEMM project studied the first e-learning package and one of the four public health packages listed below.

First package: An Introduction to Midwifery in Europe.

The four public health packages focused on:

  • Promoting positive lifestyle choices for women within their communities
  • Empowering women to maintain their sense of safety
  • Championing the needs of the migrant population
  • Optimising psychological well-being for women and families
