Overview

This course will cover a logical approach to cardio-respiratory cases in practice.  The day will be a case-based approach to common cardio-respiratory presentations in small animal practice.

Topics to be covered include:

  • History and physical exam – how can the aid decision making
  • Diagnostic tests – what does my patient need – echo, radiographs, BAL or all of the above?
  • Therapeutics – what will actually help?
  • Case-based approach to the coughing patient
