Our courses

Veterinary Medicine and Surgery

Our five-year dual-intake course comprises basic veterinary sciences and clinical subjects. You will learn through a clinically integrated programme, using a problem-oriented approach. Animal experience is gained from day one. This course has two intakes per year - September and April.

Veterinary Medicine and Surgery including a Preliminary Year

A preliminary year is ideal if you don't have the required science qualifications, but have high academic achievement in non-science or vocational subjects, or extensive experience. You will progress onto our five-year course after your first year.

Veterinary Medicine and Surgery including a Gateway Year

Specifically designed to widen participation in veterinary medicine and science, our gateway year provides an opportunity for students from less advantaged backgrounds to study veterinary medicine. You will progress onto our five-year course after your first year.
