The trainee will be registered for a Master of Veterinary Medicine (MVM) degree at the School of Veterinary Medicine and Science and will undertake a research project on some aspect of veterinary anatomic pathology as a component of their residency training. The research will be limited to pre-approved projects; further information about the currently approved projects can be provided on request. Internal submission of the master’s thesis is required prior to approval for taking the final phase of board examinations. The training programme encompasses small group teaching, seminars, research, diagnostic duties (companion, exotics, and farm pathology). Successful residents will be eligible for the ECVP and/or ACVP board certification examination upon completion of the residency.
