Description

Please note this event takes place at Wallacespace Clerkenwell Green, Clerkenwell Green, London, EC1R 0DP

At this informal event, the University of Nottingham will showcase two inspiring routes to becoming an accredited architect:

  • Level 7 Architect Degree Apprenticeship (covering Part 2 &3)
  • University-based full-time MArch Part 2

You will have the opportunity to hear from current apprentices, employers and MArch Part 2 students about, their experience on the different pathways and how it is supporting their career aspirations.

Route: Architect Degree Apprenticeship
Presented by Programme Director Graeme Barker

You will hear how our masters-level Architect Degree Apprenticeship can help architect graduates take the next step in their career and enable architectural practices to attract and retain top-talent in a cost-effective way.

This route combines the best of practice experience and research-led education. It gives apprentices the opportunity to use their academic studies to enrich their real-world experience. In turn, this enhances their learning and confidence, and enables them to make significant contributions to their practice’s research, projects and networks.

Route: MArch Part 2
Presented by Course Director Tim Collett

Our university-based full-time MArch Part 2 is a two-year professional course in architecture, designed and delivered by award-winning architects and leading academics. With exceptional student satisfaction and graduate employment prospects, our students thrive in their learning environment.

Both academic and vocational, the course prepares students for practice, anchored in research, and focussed on developing design excellence. Studying for the MArch Part 2 will give you the opportunity to develop your own interests across key themes such as sustainability, construction and social inclusivity.

If you have any questions about the MArch Part 2 course prior to the event please contact Tim Collett on tim.collett1@nottingham.ac.uk.

Who is this event for?

Our open evening is designed for those interested in pursuing either the Degree Apprenticeship route or the full-time MArch Part 2 degree.

Please note apprentices must be employed in a role that allows them to develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours of an Architect.
