Beauty is in the eye of the beholder - Ingenuity Breakfast Webinar

How attractive is your business? If beauty is in the eye of the beholder, who’s looking and what do they see?

The world of online dating knows a thing or two about crafting a digital profile to perfection; every word and image carefully chosen to entice you to ‘swipe right’. But what is your online business profile saying about you? Is it turning potential customers, suppliers and business partners on or off? Building successful business relationships is just as much of a matchmaking process – and we can greatly increase our attractiveness, both online and offline, with a few simple tips.

Join us for this webinar, where we’ll delve into a practical toolkit of how references, testimonials, networks, ratings and case studies can be used to showcase our businesses in their best light.

Speakers

Dr Zsofia Toth (Assistant Professor in Marketing at Nottingham University Business School)

Do good things and do them well – this is Zsofia’s inspirational motto. Her principal area of research is business networks and relationships, as she considers this to be a key driver for enhancing business performance. Her research involves helping to solve managerial problems and her teaching helps to collaboratively share and recreate this knowledge. Her preference is to maintain a dual role of knowledge sharing within academia and creating impact that can inform managerial practices.

Claire Bicknell (Founder and Director of Catena)

Claire describes herself as a ‘connector’. Connectors are people who maintain contact with hundreds of people in many different worlds and know them well enough to give them a call. It’s their job to know EVERYONE. Finding the right people to work with in business can prove a frustrating process, but at the Catena Business Network, they’ve already met your match! Whether you’re looking for professional help on a project, or you want to get your name known with those who might be, Claire can provide the vital link between the two. She has over 10 years’ experience in professional services marketing and understands the importance of client relationship and service provision for B2B companies. Through Catena, she aims to provide a vibrant platform for businesses to do business with businesses they like!
