The Children & Childhood Network Annual Lecture 2016

refugee art

The Children & Childhood Network at the University of Nottingham organised an afternoon of events focusing on refugee children last Wednesday, including an Arts workshop which saw young refugees visit the University to create pieces that reflected their experiences as a refugee.

Thanks to the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Refugee Forum,  Art Refuge UK and Professor Ravi Kohli, the speaker, who gave a compelling lecture on the subject of 'Liquid children: reflections on the movements forced migrant children make towards their 'best interests'', a pdf of which is available to download here.

If you are interested in the work of the network please contact the network organisers to be added to their mailing list.
