I have been working with The University of Nottingham Ningbo, China (UNNC) since 2006. Before starting my career as a teacher in higher education, I was teaching English and Business in diverse institutions in China.
Apart from having been in education, I have also been working in business and in political institutions (marketing researcher, political researcher, public relations, auditing) in different European countries (France, Spain, UK, Germany) for about four years before becoming a university teacher. My teaching has been focused around diverse and multidisciplinary subjects such as: media, new technologies, globalization, language, and cultural studies. My area of research connects with the study of urban spaces for the visual arts and it is based in Shanghai.
