The Careers and Employability service hosted a careers in computing fair at the School of Computer Science, Wednesday 6 November. Around 22 employers were in attendance who were actively recruiting students with a background in science and technology. There was a large range of employers who attended including Accenture, Bank of England, The Beans Group, GCHQ, PWC, Sky, BT, Selex-Es and Imagination Technologies.
Thank you to all students who attended the event. The feedback we received in regards to the quality of students they met was excellent, with comments such as ‘we got to speak to some very capable and enthusiastic students’, ‘students were very engaging and asked questions about the various roles we offered’, and ‘We definitely engaged with some students and encouraged them to consider applying!’
We look forward to hosting this event again next year!
