I currently teach various modules related to the following areas:

Human Computer Interaction

Computer Networks

Unix and System and Network Administration

In the past I have also taught modules on Collaboration and Communication Technologies, Virtual Reality and Multimedia, Human Factors, User Interface Design, Unix and Software Tools, Computer Use and Applications, The Internet and the World Wide Web, XML and Advanced Computer Communication.

Current Research

My research interests currently revolve around social networking, eLearning and collaborative aspects of these from a usability/user experience perspective. I am particularly interested in aspects of user engagement with social networks and eLearning environments and factors affecting motivation to use these environments. I am also interested in the use of mobile technologies to support learning and how they might impact on community engagement and collaborative opportunities.
