UoN student creates interactive map of Nottingham's music venues

Madelaine Williams, a second year Music student, has created an interactive map of venues, shops and festivals in Nottinghamshire.

Madelaine created the resource as part of her placement module, which focused on marketing within the arts. She hopes it will be a useful resource for prospective students looking at studying music at Nottingham.

The map includes staple venues such as Rock City, Rescue Rooms and Bodega, as well as lesser known music institutions, including I’m Not From London, Streetwise Opera and Rob’s Record Mart.

Madelaine says that there’s still more work to be done on the project, and hopes that it will become a resource that’s maintained into the future.
