Biography

Dr. Ying Li received the B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing, China, in 2014 and 2020, respectively. She is currently an Assistant Professor with the Research Group of Power Electronics, Machines and Control, University of Nottingham, Nottingham, U.K. From 2021 to 2022, she was a research fellow at the University of Nottingham. Dr. Ying Li has authored and co-authored over 20 research papers in highly-rated international journals and conferences. Her research interests include dc-dc power conversion, wide-band-gap semiconductor power device application, and high switching frequency resonant power conversion. She is a steering member of the IEEE UK&I WIE Affinity Group and has served as a session chair for several IEEE flagship conferences. Additionally, she actively participates in organizing IEEE conferences and workshops. Dr. Ying Li has received several awards and recognitions, including the Global Young Member Showcase CIGRE UK NGN presentation award in 2022 and distinguished reviewer of IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics in 2021.
