Monday 09 March 2015 - Derby virtual PLT launched - An exciting new online tool has been launched to aid the work of the Derby Practice Learning Team and to improve communication between tutors, students and the University.
The new virtual area will act as an information hub, providing students and tutors with the opportunity to connect with each other through a discussion forum and keep abreast of the latest practice news in the Key Practice Topics area.
The project is currently being trialled with access from around 12 current University students. More information to follow.
Tuesday 03 March 2015 - Tripartite meetings - Please see the latest mentor newsletter which contains dates for tripartitie meetings (accessible through the PLT area linked at the top of this page).
Tuesday 03 March 2015 - Bespoke updates - If you as a team cannot make the planned mentor updates, please leave a comment and Chris Palmer will try to arrange bespoke programs.
Tuesday 03 March 2015 - Date for your diary - Please mark 22 September 2015 in your diary as a collaborative PLT day is planned, intended to bring otgether members of child PLTs from across the region with a focus on: assessment in practice, teaching clinical skills, developing student learning and preparing professions. 28 May 1.30–2.30 – Sinfin Health Centre
30 July – 1.30–2.30 – Coleman St Health Centre
25 September – 1.30–2.30 – Village Community Medical Centre
30 November – 1.30–2.30 – Sinfin Health Centre
