The University of Nottingham Interdisciplinary Centre for Analytical Science (UNICAS) aims to facilitate interdisciplinary research and enhance research capacity in cutting edge analytical science.
This is achieved through:
- Research collaboration across faculties and campuses
- Increased equipment sharing
- Funding collaborative research projects
- Facilitating face-to-face networking
- Increase transparency of the availability of research equipment within the University
The UNICAS sandpit events have been arranged for the next academic year. They aim to enable researchers to network, showcase their research expertise, discuss research challenges and find solutions to those challenges.
Following these events delegates will be able to apply for funding for an interdisciplinary research project resulting from the sandpit event.
