Travel Report
In May 2012 Dr Liam McCarthy was awarded a travel bursary from the Institute of Asia-Pacific Studies to facilitate his attendance of a workshop on the Complexities of Governance/Resistance hosted by the School of Politics, History and International Relations in Malaysia, in partnership with Finnish Academy. The workshop enabled Dr McCarthy to work collaboratively with colleagues from Nottingham, Malaysia and Ningbo, and also contributors from all over Europe, Asia and Australasia.
