Please note that when the lending desk is closed, no cash transactions may be carried out. Fines of £5 or more may be paid using a debit or credit card via a self service machine.
Outside 24 hour opening:
Last entry to the library is 15 minutes before closing time. A tannoy is used to announce the closing procedures, starting 30 minutes before closing time.
The computer room is closed for 30 minutes each day (9.30 pm – 10 pm on weekdays and 4.30 pm - 5 pm at the weekend). All belongings must be removed from the computer room during this time. When the computer room re-opens access to the building and the computer room is by University card.

Video playback and a microform reader/printer are available in Zone 1. The microform reader/printer uses the same payment system as print, copy and scan.
