-
please note that there is no USB safe removal option available on the Walk in User PCs
Are you looking for a particular eJournal or eBook?
The Walk in User Resources pages list the different eJournal and eBook packages which are included in the service. To find a title:
-
search the Library Online Catalogue (
UNLOC) and identify which package it belongs to e.g. Elsevier Science Direct, Springer etc. You can find this information in the full journal record (click on the number to the left of the journal name) and also from the SFX information within UNLOC.
-
browse to the eJournal category on the left hand side to access the journal itself, by selecting the package it belongs to. The service does not provide the facility to click through from the SFX box to the eJournal.
If you need any assistance with this, you can contact the library before you visit or email Walk-in-user-feedback@nottingham.ac.uk . Please provide details of the eJournals/eBooks you are interested in and we can then advise you accordingly.
Please note that we are unable to list the individual eJournal and eBook titles available through the service.
Using the service
Bring your Walk in User registration form with you on each visit, this should be presented to Library staff at the service point in the library you are using.
Return the proximity device to the service point once you have finished using the service.
