Testalepre Retreat 2022 - Ecological Reparation and the Politics of Just Transitions

23-25 September 2022, Agriturismo Testalepre, Greve in Chianti (FI), Italy

Call for Participants

The myriad of ecological transitions that take place across many different places and geographies today mobilise alternative forms of sociability and materiality, more-than-social civil disobedience and community technoscience, new eco-social coalitions, and the quest for reparative justice. During this retreat we will explore theories and practices of ecological reparation and the politics of just transitions.

Friday 23 September

  • 8.30-10pm, 2nd session: Elizabeth A. Povinelli in dialogue with Roberta Raffaetà 

Saturday 24 September

  • 9.30am-1pm, 3rd session: Ecological (Un)belongings with Maria Puig de la Bellacasa, Miriam Tola, collettivo Epidemia, Manuela Zechner
  • 3-6pm, 4th session: Ecological Reparation with Dimitris Papadopoulos, Naomi Millner, Nerea Calvillo, Andrea Ghelfi, Patrick Bresnihan

How to participate 

To attend the retreat, please send a brief expression of interest toandrea.ghelfi@yahoo.it by 30 July 2022. There are very few spaces available and accepted participants are required to register by 23 August. Registration costs: 100 Euro (covers seminar activities, meals and camping opportunities (with your own tend) within the location of the retreat at the agriturismo).
