Dr Aris Georgopoulos Addresses High-Level Defence Industrial Event in Athens

Dr Aris Georgopoulos was invited speaker at the high-level event organised by the Association of Greek Manufacturers of Defence Materiel (SEKPY) in Athens. Dr Georgopoulos presented his research on the new avenues, opportunities (and limitations) for collaboration and joint procurement in the defence and security sectors at the European level, such as the European Defence Fund (EDF), the European Defence Industry Reinforcement through Common Procurement (EDIRPA) and the European Defence Investment Programme (EDIP). The high level event was attended by representatives of the Greek Government  the Ministry of Defence, of the defence industry, Members of Parliament, delegates from foreign embassies, and Universities.
