Ioanna Lapatoura viva success

We are pleased to announce that Ioanna Lapatoura has passed her PhD viva voce examination on Tuesday 13 February 2024.

Ioanna's thesis ‘Intellectual property infringement in fashion: insufficient enforcement and how blockchain may change the landscape' was supervised by Estelle Derclaye (Professor of Intellectual Property Law, University of Nottingham) and Paul Torremans (Professor of Intellectual Property Law and co-director of the University of Nottingham Commercial Law Centre).   

The examiners were Dr Nicholas Gervassis (Assistant Professor in Law (Technology and Data), University of Nottingham) and Eleonora Rosati (Professor of Intellectual Property Law, Stockholm University).  Dr Reza Beheshti (Assistant Professor in International Commercial Law, University of Nottingham) served as the chair of the examination.
