One of our students has been selected as a finalist for the IUPHAR Young Investigator of the Year Award

We're proud to announce that Birgit Caspar, one of our PhD students, has been selected as one of the finalists for the prestigious Young Investigator Award of the IUPHAR World Congress of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology. Birgit will present her work at the Young Investigator symposium on 5 July in Kyoto, Japan. The meeting only takes place every four years so it is a huge achievement to be selected - congratulations Birgit.

Birgit is one of our early career researchers on the EU ONCORNET programme and we wish her the best of luck in the final. An article on the Young Investigator finalists will appear in the June issue of Pharmacology International.
