Funding

MSc scholarships

The School of Life Sciences is offering 12 scholarships amounting to £1,000 each for international students joining the MSc courses listed below in 2019/20.

  • Immunology and Allergy
  • Microbiology and Immunology
  • Molecular Genetics and Diagnostics
  • Biological Photography and Imaging
  • Clinical and Molecular Microbiology

The closing date for applications is 12 noon (GMT) Friday 24 May 2019. Successful applicants will be notified via email by Friday 14 June 2019. 

To apply for these scholarships you need a copy of an acceptance letter confirming that you have a place to study. This is a competitive scheme and students will be awarded a scholarship on academic and individual merit.

Additional funding

Further information regarding funding is available for current and prospective students.

Fully funded places for selected courses are available for health and social care professionals working in the East Midlands and having the support of their manager. These places are funded through the East Midlands Healthcare Workforce Deanery (SHA) contract with the University of Nottingham. The Government have announced new Postgraduate Loans of up to £10,280 for students studying a taught or research masters course.
