Facilities

Whether you are a new user of MR, or are an experienced MR user, we have the facilities, the staff and the experience to help you get the most from using MR in your research.

We have experience of working with clinical and non clinical biomedical academic research groups. the pharmaceutical and food industries, and other science and engineering research groups. In particular we have staff with training and experience in working to GCP standards and we have clinically qualified radiographers available if required.

Other facilities

  • 9.4T vertical superwidebore magnet with three rf channel console plus microimaging accessory.
  • 9.4T/3.4T vertical dual-isocentre magnet with six rf channel console plus microimaging accessory, quasi-optical EPR bridge and cryo-VTI (dissolution DNP prototype spectrometer).
  • 3.4T magnet with sweep coil and cryo-VTI, pulsed EPR bridge and solid state NMR probes.
  • 3.4T magnet with dissolution DNP polarizer equipment (microwave source and cryo-VTI)
