Royal Statistical Society local group meeting

The East Midlands local group of the Royal Statistical Society will hold a meeting in the School of Mathematical Sciences on the evening of Thursday 3rd November.

The guest speakers will be Michael Turner (BMG Research) and Nick Palmer (MP for Broxtowe 1997-2010), who will speak about polling from their respective viewpoints as Head of Polling at a large market research firm and an experienced MP & mathematics graduate.

Tea/coffee will be available from 5:30pm, there will be a short AGM at 5:50pm and the talks will start at 6:00pm.

The talk is open to members and non-members of the RSS.
