The aim of this resource and activity is to present to you the information you need in order to decide what to do with the waste you (and your patients/service users) produce in a typical day in clinical practice.
This includes your responsiblity to:
- reduce health and safety risks to staff, patients and visitors
- protect the environment
- reduce waste disposal costs
- ensure that you and your employer comply with current legislation
