Future proofing agricultural systems

Sustainable and productive agricultural systems are essential to guaranteeing nutrient-rich, healthy food sources for the global population.

Not only is the world’s population growing, more and more people are living in urban environments. This presents multiple challenges gaining access to healthy foods. Environmental, economic and cultural factors are also impacting the sustainability of global agriculture. Further, to meet growing demand, the livestock industry has developed a reliance on antibiotics, which is having a detrimental impact on human health.
