Catching Ticks in Rhode Island

Catching-ticks-web

Franco Falcone spent a great afternoon with Dr Thomas Mather from the University of Rhode Island (in Kingston, near Providence, RI) catching ticks. A fitting introduction to our new collaboration on the development of an anti-tick vaccine.

Franco caught 16 ticks. Don't ask how many Thomas Mather caught! Also, not sure whether Franco caught the ticks or the ticks caught him- probably the latter.
