Congratulations to Dr John Baker, who has recently been promoted to Associate Professor in Name-Studies. John has been in Nottingham since 2005, working as Research Fellow on the projects Beyond the Burghal Hidage, Landscapes of Governance and The Place-Names of Shropshire, and more recently as Lecturer in Name-Studies.
