Factory: The Seen and the Unseen - New Exhibit at Tate

Artcodes technology, developed in the Mixed Reality Lab by Steve Benford and his colleagues, is being used as part of this new exhibition at Tate. The exhibition is truly impressive in its scale - an entire floor of the new Tate Exchange building is turned into a ceramics factory for the public to create and share objects. Artcodes is used to clock visitors in and out of different factory stations as they go round. Dimitri Darzentas' 3D scanning technology is also used to make 3D models of the objects they produce."

The exhibit official opens today — read more on the Tate website.
