My Marriage My Choice

Project News for August

During August we reviewed anonymised data from the Forced Marriage Unit and drew out recurring themes. We also used the data to develop a better understanding of the demographics of those people at risk of or being subjected to forced marriage. We hope to report on this early stage analysis in due course. For the time being we have used this data to inform our questions for the various interviews (with people with learning disabilities, families, faith leaders and practitioners) that we will be undertaking later in the autumn.

We also began developing the My Marriage My Choice website, ready for going 'live' in September.
