Get children excited about Modern Foreign Languages!
In partnership with the School of Cultures, Languages and Area Studies, our Learning Leaders student volunteers support language learning, delivering engaging activities.
This project can help prepare children for transition to secondary school, introduce Spanish as a new language, or develop an area already taught in school.
Is it for you?
- Suitable for Years 3-6
- Weekly 60 minutes sessions
- Delivered for five consecutive weeks
- School staff must be present to supervise children in all sessions

- Speak in sentences, using familiar vocabulary, phrases and basic language structures
- Engage in conversations; ask and answer questions
- Develop accurate pronunciation and intonation
- Broaden their vocabulary
- Understand basic grammar
- Describe people, places, things and actions
