Jack Morris fights his way to BUCS gold at 2019 Boxing Championships

On Friday 1 February, the UKs top student boxers headed to Wolverhampton for a over a three-day competition culminating in a finals day for the 2019 BUCS Boxing Championships.

University of Nottingham Sport took a record amount of boxers to the championships, across 11 different weight categories and recorded one of their most succesful championships to date.

The team brought back four bronze medals, two silvers and one gold.

Jack Morris, (pictured below) earned University of Nottingham's first male BUCS gold medal in the Novice 69-75kg category.
