This short video gives excellent real life footage of Sword-Billed Hummingbirds. Students will enjoy the close up views of this amazing bird as it feeds from flowers in its natural habitat. The Sword-billed Hummingbird is found in the Andes Mountains and its bill is up to 4 inches in length and has a bill which is longer than its body. This enables it to feed on flowers with long corollas. This is a great resource to help build background knowledge and to help make real world connections be
