This resource is available via the Oxford Text Archive (OTA) website, and can be downloaded as a zipped file in AIFF format. It is necessary to apply for approval from the OTA before download, and a link is provided to the terms and conditions of use, and a form to apply for permission. The project aims to gather a substantial corpus of natural speech from children in the early stages of acquisition of Welsh as a first language, and consists of weekly tapes of 30-45 minutes over 9 months. This initiative is being run by the European Commission (Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities directorate).
