Stenosis, Ischemia, and Heart Failure
This eight minute video is stenosis, ischemia, and heart failure. Stenosis is the narrowing of a blood vessel. Ischemia is restricted blood supply, and because of ischemia and the restricted blood supply to muscles, the muscles pumping blood will have less
blood to pump, leading to heart failure. Heart failure does not mean that the heart completely fails, but means it is partially failing, because the blood pumping has been reduced. The video uses a narrator and a smart board.

Classroom Triangles
In this activity, students will use bearing measurements to triangulate and determine objects' locations. Working in teams of two or three, students must put on their investigative hats as they take bearing measurements to specified landmarks in their classroom (or other rooms in the school) from a "mystery location." With the extension activity, students are challenged with creating their own map of the classroom or other school location and comparing it with their classmates' efforts.
