"I Heard a Fly Buzz When I Died" Poem by Emily Dickinson
This film, created in 1960 by Lynn Tomlinson, artistically uses clay-on-glass animation to illustrate Emily Dickinson's poem "I Heard a Fly Buzz When I Died." Melissa Miller artfully reads the poem, during which we hear the sound of a fly buzzing loudly. The film is mostly in brown and white with splashes of color throughout. (1:43)
