This first year BVetMed global citizenship lecture by Bev Panto of the Royal Veterinary College was captured and delivered online

The War of 1812 was America's response to the British Orders in Council which saw the US Navy humiliated and the capitol being burned. This video is about Andrew Jackson actions in saving New Orleans and how he recruited both pirates and free blacks to defend the city. The video does a good job of fighting this battle, that actually took place after the war was over.
