A History of the County of Lancaster: Volume 8
Covers Lonsdale hundred, the northernmost part of the historic county. To the north it includes the parishes of Cartmel, Hawkshead and Ulverston (now in Cumbria). Further south it covers the parish and city of Lancaster, and the rest of the county as far south as Cockerham, where the hundred bordered that of Amounderness (volume 7).
A History of the County of Lancaster: Volume 7
This volume is mostly taken up with the history of Amounderness hundred, lying north of the Ribble and south of Lonsdale. It covers the coastal town of Lytham, as well as giving an account of major towns including Preston and Garstang. It also concludes the account of Blackburn hundred, mostly covered in volume 6, including the parishes of Ribchester and Chipping.
A History of the County of Lancaster: Volume 6
Describes the history of the hundred of Leyland, including the parishes of Chorley and Standish. It also covers part of the hundred of Blackburn, including the parish of Blackburn itself. The rest of the hundred is treated in volume 7.
A History of the County of Lancaster: Volume 5
Continues the account of Salford hundred begun in volume 4. It includes accounts of the parishes of Bury, Bolton-le-Moors, Prestwich-with-Oldham and Rochdale.
The History and Topographical Survey of the County of Kent: Volume 4
Covers the hundreds of Hoo, Chatham and Gillingham, Maidstone and Larkfield, in the north and centre of the historic county. It also includes an account of the cathedral city of Rochester.
The History and Topographical Survey of the County of Kent: Volume 1
Includes a general account of the history, topography and natural history of the county. The volume also details the parishes of the two hundreds of Blackheath and Bromley and Beckenham, including several parishes which now form part of metropolitan London. These include Charlton, Deptford, Greenwich, Lewisham and Woolwich.
A History of the County of Warwick: Volume 6 - Knightlow hundred
Covers Knightlow hundred, in the south-east corner of the county, and bordering Leicestershire and Northamptonshire. It covers the areas surrounding Coventry and Warwick, and includes an account of the boroughs of Leamington Spa and Rugby. (Coventry and Warwick themselves are treated separately, in volume 8.)

Part 2 of the volume details thematically with the economic, cultural and religious institutions of the city, as well as its local government and public services.
A History of the County of Sussex: Volume 7 - The rape of Lewes
Covers the rape and honour of Lewes, in the east of the county. It includes an extensive account of the borough of Lewes itself, as well as detailing the parishes from the old parish of Crawley and the county border in the north, to coastal areas in the south, including Brighton to the west and Newhaven in the east.
A History of the County of Hampshire: Volume 4
Covers the areas around the northern edge of the county, from Thorngate and Andover hundreds on the western border with Dorset, around to Odiam and Crundall hundreds in the north-east of the county. It includes accounts of the towns of Andover, Aldershot and Basingstoke. It also describes the hundred of the New Forest in the south-west of the county.
A History of the County of Warwick: Volume 5 - Kington hundred
Kington hundred lies directly south of Warwick, between the rivers Avon to the west and Itchen to the east. The volume covers the 54 parishes of the hundred, including Atherstone-on-Stour, Brailes and Kineton.
A History of the County of Warwick: Volume 3 - Barlichway hundred
Covers the hundred of Barlichway, in the south-west of the county. It includes the towns of Henley-in-Arden and Stratford-upon-Avon.
A History of the County of York North Riding: Volume 1
The first of two volumes, covering six wapentakes in the western half of the North Riding. It includes an account of the borough of Richmond.
The History and Topographical Survey of the County of Kent: Volume 6
The histories of three hundreds in the lath of Scray: Faversham, Milton and Tenham. The volume includes accounts of the isle of Sheppey and the ville of Sheerness. It also gives addenda for this volume and for volume 5.
The History and Topographical Survey of the County of Kent: Volume 5
Details the remaining eight hundreds of the lathe of Aylesford, including those of Brenchley and Wrotham. Includes accounts of the towns of Tonbridge and West Peckham.
The History and Topographical Survey of the County of Kent: Volume 3
Details four hundreds in the lathe of Sutton-at-Hone (Westerham and Edenbridge; Brasted; Somerton, and Codsheath) and two in the lathe of Aylesford on the north Kent coast (Toltringtrough and Shamwell.) Includes accounts of the towns of Gravesend, Shoreham and Westerham.
The History and Topographical Survey of the County of Kent: Volume 2
Details four hundreds in the lath of Sutton-at-Hone: those of Little and Lesnes, Dartford and Wilmington, Ruxley, and Axtane. Includes accounts of Dartford and parts of south-east metropolitan London, including Orpington.
A History of the County of Buckingham: Volume 4
Describes the histories of the parishes of the hundreds of Ashendon, Buckingham and Newport. It includes accounts of the parishes of Newport Pagnell and Milton Keynes.
A History of the County of Buckingham: Volume 2
A part-volume covering the three hundreds of Aylesbury - the hundreds of Risborough, Stone and Aylesbury.
A History of the County of Berkshire: Volume 4
Covers the ten hundreds in the western area of the county, bordering Wiltshire and Gloucestershire. Includes accounts of the major towns of Abingdon, Hungerford, Newbury and Wantage.
