PediNeuroLogic Exam: 2 1/2 Years Old: Fine Motor/Coordination - Using Puppets
Using finger puppets facilitates coordination testing. First the girl is asked to place the puppets on her finger, which shows that she accurately reaches a target without ataxia. The girl is then taught how to do finger to nose by having her touch the puppet's nose then her nose. A neuroscience tutorial focusing on those aspects of the pediatric neurological examination that are unique to the child's nervous system, with an emphasis on important neurodevelopmental milestones.

The unit does not discuss these terms exclusively in terms of social work practice so service users, carers or anyone interested in community care and the ways in which welfare services are provided would find this unit useful.

The course facilitates a close reading of Don Quixote in the artistic and historical context of renaissance and baroque Spain. Students are also expected to read four of Cervantes' Exemplary Stories, Cervantes' Don Quixote: A Casebook, and J.H. Elliott's Imperial Spain. Cervantes' work will be discussed in relation to paintings by Velázquez. The question of why Don Quixote is read today will be addressed throughout the course. Can law change human behavior to be less environmentally damaging? Law will be examined through case histories including: environmental effects of national security, pesticides, air pollution, consumer products, plastics, parks and protected area management, land use, urban growth and sprawl, public/private transit, drinking water standards, food safety, and hazardous site restoration. In each case we will review the structure of law and evaluate its strengths and weaknesses.
At the completion of this lesson you will be able to understand the main points of a route description. You will read an email and put the missing streets into the correct places in the text. Then you will read the email again: now the instructions are missing. Then you will practice numbers and left/right. You will use this to indicate where a building is located. Lastly, you will get a brain teaser about three places in the city.
