Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD)
Between 8-12 million Americans are living with peripheral arterial disease (PAD). If left untreated, PAD can cause a patient to require limb amputation. Dr. Robert Crawford, assistant professor of surgery, discusses risk factors, lifestyle modification behaviors and surgical treatments to cure, or stall, the progression of this preventable disease.
