An Introduction to Computational Multiphysics: Motivations for Triple-M Modeling
Modern science is increasingly faced with problems of ever greater complexity, straddling across the traditional disciplinary boundaries between physics, chemistry, material science and biology. Computational science is responding to this challenge with a steadfast development of innovative modeling techniques, designed in such a way as to offer an optimal handling of the information transfer procedures connecting the different scales/levels involved in the quantitative description of the aforem

Meridian and Acupoint 2
Acupuncture is a complex therapeutic practice of inserting medical needles to stimulate specific anatomic points in a body (called acupoints). Based on the body of principles drawn from Yin-Yang theory, the five phase theory, and the meridian theory, manual acupuncture aims to improve symptoms through the regulation of the flow of Qi. Academic research for schools
Academic subjects are usually extremely far from actual problems and questions of academic research. Material at school is often presented as a sum of fixed, immovable facts one has to learn, although in the world of research these facts may be regarded as questionable or even disproved. On the other hand, pupils rarely have an understanding of how facts are developed and understood. As it is impossible to bring a researcher to every school, we are working on the project that would help research

It's About Interactive Learning
This paper draws on results of a research project InterActive Education: Teaching and Learning in the Information Age. The overall aim of the project is to examine the ways in which new technologies can be used in educational settings to enhance learning. To this end the project centres around the design and evaluation of teaching and learning initiatives for pupils from the age of eight to eighteen. Within this paper we report on our work with teachers and pupils, who have developed learning i
