As the Titanic was sinking, passengers were loaded onto lifeboats by the deck crew. The engineering crew stayed at their posts to work the pumps, controlling flooding as much as possible. This action ensured the power stayed on during the evacuation and allowed the wireless radio system to keep sending distress calls. These men bravely kept at their work and helped save more than 700 people, even though it would cost them their own lives. In this clip learn more about these brave men. (3:35)
When Robert Ballard and his team discovered the Titanic in 1985, they chose not to remove anything from the wreckage. According to the laws of the sea, removing anything would have meant that Ballard and his team were the owners of the site. Two years later, a private company returned to the site of the wreck and claimed it as their own by removing artifacts. In this video clip, learn more about the ship Titanic.
Shipbuilders worked tirelessly for two years to create the mammoth structure that was to become the Titanic, and eight workers died during its construction. After the ship was finished in 1912, the Titanic was set for its maiden voyage in early April. In this video clip, learn more about the construction of Titanic. (1:37)

This three minute video uses to tell a music to help explain the relationship between what a subject and predicate are and provides several examples.
In this video segment from Between the Lions, the song "What's Your Name?" highlights the short "u" sound in 33 names. By focusing on the /uh/ sound within words, the song sparks phonemic awareness, and by showing the letter "u," it also promotes letter knowledge. (0:44)
