Bill Richmond, Tom Molineaux Black Boxers in london 1810
Bill Richmond was a black man who ran his own business in 1800's London. A champion boxer he took on white boxer Tom Cribb, who was younger and heavier in a national title fight in 1805. He lost the fight but used his earnings to set up a pub and boxing academy where he trained the likes of Lord Byron.
