Profile 2011, the Alfred University School of Art & Design's annual NYC art show, was at the Gem Hotel Chelsea in Manhattan from Wednesday, June 9 through Saturday, June 23. A total of 27 BFA artists had work exhibited. The lecture focused on Professor Griffin's research about young people's everyday lives and what is important to them.
She argued that young people are usually most concerned with fitting in, with where they belong in psychological and social terms - and with having fun. However, young people in affluent western societies are the target of substantial marketing campaigns that take full advantage of this in their advertising, branding and marketing of a range of products.

Like all research, we start with a problem, question, or hypothesis. In this presentation, six graduate students aim to discuss the connections between the dividing beta family of stable homotopic spheres and the congruences of q-expansion of modular forms. In simple terms, think of constructing and mapping out spherical groups into other spheres.
