Expedition 30 Prepares for Dec. 21 Launch
NASA astronaut Don Pettit, Russian cosmonaut Oleg Kononenko and European Space Agency astronaut Andre Kuipers arrive at the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan to begin the final phase of preparations for their Dec. 21 launch to the International Space Station.

Cat litter - the latest weapon in crime fighting
Dec. 15 - Forensic scientists in Cambridge are researching the use of cat litter to detect the presence of petrol at crime scenes. Up until now, the only way to conduct their analysis was to cut up large slabs of concrete and transport them back to the lab. Now, the scientists say, it won't be long before the job can be done on-site. Joanne Nicholson reports.
