John manages the Information Technology Deparment at W.K. Kellogg Biological Station and his support area consists of 100 computers and about 200 other pieces of equipment. This equipment is utilized by 150 workers year round, but increases to about 400 users in the summer when factoring in visiting researchers and students.

Eastman Renovation and Expansion Project
In 2010, the Eastman School of Music unveiled a renovated Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre and the newly constructed East Wing. The expansion included the Hatch Recital Hall, a rehearsal space larger than the footprint of the Kodak Hall stage and a state of the art recording control room among other amenities. The project was an immense challenge, not only from the standpoint of preserving the history of the original 1922 building, but also adding the world-class facilities that would take Eastman'
