Are you a technophobe? Bluetooth, Ethernet WiFi – are they terms that mean nothing to you? This unit will gently guide you to an understanding of how devices 'talk' to each other and what technologies and processes are involved. You will also look at wired and wireless communication technologies, introducing you to some of the key methods involved.

Cavité Laser
Descriptif de la cavité d'un laser où les phénomènes d'émission spontanée et stimulée sont mises en évidence au travers de l'orientation du miroir arrière. Les phénomènes de polarisation, de taille de la cavité et de perte par diffusion sont décrites.

Analyse d'images par traitement de Fourier optique
Montage expérimental dans lequel est visualisé le spectre d'une image au niveau du plan de Fourier. Deux exemples de traitements d'images sont présentés : le floutage et le démultiplexage.
