Biography
Patience qualified as a Teacher of English at Secondary School in Zimbabwe in 1988, with the University of Zimbabwe and taught for 3 years. He later enrolled for a further degree in Teaching English language, Linguistics and Literature, with the University of Zimbabwe, qualifying in 1993 (Bachelor of Education), to teach 'O' level and Advanced Level English language, and Literature. Patience trained to teach English (PGCE Secondary) at Nottingham Trent University in 2006 and he subsequently worked at various secondary Schools in Leicester. He also attained an MA degree from The University of Leicester (2008). He got employed by Leicester College (FE) in 2011 where he taught ESOL until 2016. He also taught part time at The University of Nottingham and DeMontfort University as an (EAP) tutor. He worked as a part-time tutor at the University of Nottingham since 2012 and attained a PGCE in Education Research at The University of Nottingham (2015). He joined the Department of Education (CELE) in 2019 to teach EAP in the pre-sessional and In-sessional contexts.
